Timmy Valentine (b. 1975, United States) is an artist and author based in Sullivan, Illinois. Self-taught and self-directed, he works across painting and fiction. His experience as a queer and autistic artist has shaped a practice rooted in close observation, sustained attention, and an enduring fascination with ordinary objects.

Working independently from his studio in central Illinois, Valentine has spent years building a practice that moves between painting, drawing, and writing. His paintings are held in private collections and have been exhibited independently. Alongside his visual practice, he is the author of a continuing series of speculative novels, with each discipline informing the other through a shared interest in attention, narrative, and shifting perspectives. Valentine lives and works in rural Illinois, where he continues to develop new bodies of painting and fiction.
